Thank you so much for your kind wordS! I suppose when you start out, its not about what lens you have. When I started I had a kit lens for a year! As a beginner its important to learn the workings and settings of the camera, so a kit lens is perfect for this. Depending on what type of photography you do, the choice of lens is optional. For portraiture, I love the prime lens’, 50mm / 35mm / 85mm. I use CS5 to retouch and edit my work, Photoshop is LOVE! Hope this helps!
